Congratulations to Our ACG Austin/San Antonio 2026 Deal of the Year Award Winner

Congratulations to all parties involved in ACG Austin/San Antonio’s Deal of the Year Award Winner for 2026 - the acquisition of Driftwood Builders Roofing by Ponderosa Capital LLC.  The submission for this deal said it best, noting that “The transaction allowed Driftwood’s longtime ownership to transition the business to a new local owner while preserving the company’s employees, customer relationships, reputation and established presence in the Central Texas market.”

The deal was ultimately facilitated through late-stage involvement by Texas Partners Bank, providing attractive financing and support of Central Texas entrepreneurs by a Central Texas banking institution.This deal allows a locally grown business to not only maintain its local ownership, employee base, and community involvement, but also to fuel the expansion into other markets in the I-35 corridor and in the breadth of services that the company offers.
